Alpine village in autumn
The picture you see is the result of a short three-day session on the Dolomites, searching for a shot that could capture at best the incredible atmosphere created by the autumn colors and the snow fall during the days before over the mountains.
Once detected this location, I researched for several hours the ideal composition coming to get the result you can see. Once the sun was low enough to leave the village in shadow and the light of sunset was ideal to emphasize the three-dimensionality of the mountains, I shot.
This is a single exposure with polarizer filter.
In post-production I focused to highlight the extraordinary sharpness present at the time of shooting.
